After an injured back from chasing possums (by slamming himself against the fence), it’s nice to see the spark back in Harley.

Sophie & Surgery

It’s amazing how personal I’ve found my posts to get. Nothing like speaking your mind I suppose.

Monday saw Soph into day surgery for carpel tunnel on her right wrist. Left wrist in in six weeks time. With a seven week old & two businesses to run, we’ve been blessed with having the help of Soph’s Mum Sari, who’s stayed the last four nights to help out. We think (no, we know) Grandma’s been having a ball!

Right wrist ouch!

Atticus having a natural feed.

Sari feeding Atticus.

Everyone admiring the new guy.

Sometimes getting up close gives you a different perspective on things. Lets you see and appreciate the finer details. The little bits that make up the sum of the big picture.

Plagiarism

As a photographer, it’s one thing to have people use your work without payment, but it’s quite another to have another photographer plagiarise your work.

But it’s a totally different ballpark when a photographer, whom you befriend, then travel to a third-world country with during an international crisis, who then steals your work and enters it into the UNICEF Photo of the Year Awards!!

Kevin German, a photographer of amazing and inspiring talent, who’s blog I’ve followed for well over twelve months, and is now based in Vietnam, has had this happen to him.
